The Origins of OOP

One day I did some research about the origins and the original creator of OOP. His name is Alan Kay. Under computer scientists he is seen as the inventor of OOP. I would argue he did not “invent” OOP, but he discovered it, because again, even OOP existed already 6000 years earlier! I was astonished by the fact that he said that he got his inspiration for creating OOP, not from his computer science degree, but from his former educational background in Molecular Biology! So he actually used existing concepts coming from the field of Molecular Biology to develop the principles of what we now know as Object Oriented Programming or OOP. So Alan Kay did some clever Industrial espionage, but no worries, God had already open-sourced His work. (Romans 1:19-20, Psalm 19:1-5)

We can find many similarities between Object Oriented Programming and Biblical Creation and I believe it is not by accident that OOP became such a successful programming paradigm because it was heavily inspired by Intelligent biological concepts. Applying these concepts seem to have worked out very well. In a sense OOP is a working implementation of BIOOP.
